It takes more than our clinical workforce to run a successful healthcare service.

The work carried out by support services is broad, and comes in two main areas:

• Clinical Support Services are directly involved in a patient’s care. 

For example, health care assistants or therapy assistants.

• Non-Clinical Support Services are roles that keep our services running smoothly. 

For example, I.T support, maintenance, porters, domestic services, human resources, finance to name a few.
